Trident SEK Premium Paver Jointing Sand in Pearl is a clean, dry, angular jointing sand that meets ASTM C-144 for new and restored paver and stone installations. Pearl gives a light, bright tone suited to pale and white-blend pavers. It is made to be hardened with a Trident joint-stabilizing sealer to reduce sand washout, weeds and insects.

Step-by-step application

  1. Clean out joints

    Clean pavers and remove old, contaminated joint sand.

  2. Sweep sand in

    Sweep SEK sand into joints until full.

  3. Compact and top up

    Compact the pavers with a plate compactor (with protective pad) and top up joints.

  4. Sweep clean

    Sweep the surface clean.

  5. Seal to harden

    Seal with Cyclone or CAT 5 per Trident instructions, on a dry surface with dry joint sand, to harden the joints.
